Mission-Sidekick-Amazing Treasure Hunt

Icon-quote Travel through a labyrinth with your Sidekick, and collect treasure along the way.

The Amazing Treasure Hunt is a Sidekick-Based Toy Box available from the Sidekick Portal of the Toy Box Hub in Disney Infinity 3.0. It is unlocked after completing the Sidekick Square One tutorial, available from the same portal. The goal is to make your way through each of the three mazes and reach the exit.

Introduction[]

As the Toy Box loads, the Skydome is set to Metroville Sky. When complete, the character (and their Sidekick, if any) are placed in the starting area of the first maze. It includes a Scrooge McDuck Costume acting as host. Moving close to him will start a brief cutscene describing the Toy Box.

Welcome to my winding web of mazes!

My mazes might seem puzzling, but all you have to do is find the exit with your Sidekick. Easy, huh?

Features[]

Each maze begins with a room containing a Checkpoint[1] and Sidekick Manager, and ends in a Treasure Grotto. Other features include:

Spawn Point Tip
If a Loot Chest is not present at a spawn point, there will be an orange Spark capsule instead.

Maze 1[]

Entering the first maze changes the Skydome to Evergreen Woodland Sky. The terrain uses the Retro Video Game Texture Set. There is a single Loot Chest to be found here. Once found, locate the exit to the next maze.

For a list of Loot Chest spawn point locations, see: Amazing Treasure Hunt/Spoilers#Maze 1

Maze 2[]

Entering the second maze changes the Skydome to Gravity Falls Sky. The terrain uses Briar Hedge blocks. There are two Loot Chests to be found here. Once found, locate the exit to the next maze.

For a list of Loot Chest spawn point locations, see: Amazing Treasure Hunt/Spoilers#Maze 2

Maze 3[]

Entering the third maze changes the Skydome to The Empire's Weapon. The terrain uses the Imperial Space Station Texture Set. There are two Loot Chests to be found here. Once found, locate the exit.

For a list of Loot Chest spawn point locations, see: Amazing Treasure Hunt/Spoilers#Maze 3

Exit[]

Arriving at the exit changes the Skydome to Tomorrowland Stratosphere. There is a final Loot Chest here as a reward for completing all three mazes, along with a Toy Dispenser and a Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin. There is also a Toy Box door that exits back to the Toy Box Hub, and an action button that will let you replay the Toy Box (and will reset the Loot Chests).

Would you like to go through these mazes again?

Trivia[]

  • It is possible to do a "speed run" in under five minutes using a flying character such as Tinker Bell or Iron Man. This makes it possible to earn 72 Loot Chest chances per hour. These types of characters can also fly directly at the wooden barriers, and if held in that state, will cause sufficient damage to break through them.

  2. This feature makes "farming" Amazing Treasure Hunt an effective method for obtaining more Sidekick gear.
