Arlo is the main character in the Disney/Pixar film The Good Dinosaur. He is a dinosaur, and appears as a mount in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition. He was originally confirmed by a leak. It was later confirmed he would be a Power Disc as part of the The Good Dinosaur Power Disc Pack.
Development
Before being pitched as a mount, Arlo was intended to be a playable character, but he was changed to being a mere mount because one of Disney's higher ups ("a certain director", according to Bryan Allen; probably John Lasseter) thought that The Good Dinosaur was not going to be very well received.[2][3]
Trivia
- Arlo is voiced in-game by Raymond Ochoa who voices him in The Good Dinosaur, who also voices Dash in all three Disney Infinity games.[1]
- Arlo has interactive dialogue with Spot when they are on the base at the same time just like Butch, Nash and Ramsey.
