Battle Race is a multi player Adventure in Disney Infinity 1.0. It is unlocked after completing Driving Mastery.
The game is a three-lap race which the player must complete as quickly as possible. Vehicle weapons are allowed on this course.
Gameplay[]
Unless the character is a Cars vehicle or the player is using a Ground Vehicle Power Disc, they will be driving Cinderella's Coach. Players race against a random selection of three vehicles from Cars, excluding any Cars vehicle used by players.
At the start of each race during the countdown, players can build Turbo by rapidly pulling the right trigger repeatedly. Once the Turbo meter is full, hold the right trigger to retain it.
All Disney Infinity driving controls and rules apply: right trigger to accelerate, left trigger to brake or drive in reverse, jump button to jump, block button to look backwards[1], and flicking the left stick left or right to side-bash[2] an opponent.
Features[]
There are a number of fuel cans along the course. Collecting these will add to the Turbo meter. The track also features a number of hazards, including stacks of tires, and dirt hazards that will slow the vehicle. Spark capsules can also be found around the course.
Sparks[]
Sparks can be earned several ways, including breaking Spark capsules that can be found around the track. Additionally, the game awards Sparks based on rank (1st = 100, 2nd = 50, 3rd = 25, 4th = 10) and the Medal earned based on completion time (Gold = under 2:05, Silver = under 3:00, Bronze = under 4:30, no medal = over 4:30).
Trivia[]
- This is one of four driving Adventures to use the same track, the others being Battle Race Reverse, Lap Race, and Lap Race Reverse. The last is the same as this, but traveling in the opposite direction. The Battle races are the same as the Lap races, with the addition of vehicle weapons. All four have the same time goals for medals.
