Boba Fett is a character from the Lucasfilm Ltd. Star Wars film series. He may be used in:

He was revealed on June 15th, 2015 as an exclusive to the Star Wars Saga Bundle for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 at launch, but his figure was released in early 2016 for all consoles without having to buy the bundle.[1]

Abilities[]

Boba's long range attack and Default Tool is his rifle blaster. His default Pack is his jetpack. In the Star Wars Play Sets, the jetpack only allows him to super jump; however, in the Toy Box, the jetpack grants him full flight.[2] If the player unlocks the "On the Hook" ability from Boba's Skill Tree, Fett also has access to a grappling hook, which he can use to pull other characters toward him An additional Skill Tree unlock (Target Acquired) allows Boba to use this grappling hook to pull an enemy towards him, attach a bomb to the enemy, and punch them away just before the bomb explodes. Some of Fett's other abilities (which can be also unlocked from his Skill Tree) include a Block Breaker, an Air Assault, and an ability called High in the Sky, which allows Boba to perform an Air Assault on a character/enemy that is already airborne. Boba's Special Move, "Rocket Fire", allows Boba to shoot rockets from his jetpack.

Development[]

Boba was selected specifically by Sony to be the exclusive character included in the Star Wars Saga Bundle. Other characters, including Darth Vader and Yoda, were offered by Disney to be included instead, but Gio Corsi, the director of third-party production and developer relations at Sony, insisted that it be Boba.[3]

Quotes[]

For more quotes from this character, see Boba Fett/Quotes.
  • Name's Fett. Boba Fett. Who's the target?
  • A target is a target. The 'why' doesn't matter.
  • This better not be a repeat of that job on Quarzite.

Trivia[]

  • Boba and Vision are the only two characters that have the Flight ability and the Super Jump ability as he uses the Super Jump ability in the three Star Wars Play Sets, but has free-flight in the Toy Box.
  • His Block Breaker sends him diagonally to begin his Air Combo unlike most other characters that send vertically.
  • He appeared in the pre-alpha footage for Disney Infinity 4.0 in what would have been a cutscene[4].
