Figures (aka Playable Characters) can be placed on the on the Disney Infinity Base to allow the player to play as that character, either in a Game or in the Toy Box. Figures earn experience by collecting Sparks. When enough Sparks have been gathered, the Figure will gain a new Level. Some Figures also have Special Abilities.
There are three (3) classes of Figures in Disney Infinity:
- Bipeds, which include all Figures except
- Fish (from the Finding Dory Play Set), and
- Vehicles (from the Cars Play Set).
Note that while the digital-only version of Buzz Lightyear is a Playable Character, there is no corresponding physical Figure.
