Crossover Characters are a term used for characters in Disney Infinity 2.0 and Disney Infinity 3.0 that are capable of being used in play sets other than their "native" play set. To unlock a crossover character in a play set, a player must first collect a certain number of Crossover Coins containing that character's face (ten in 2.0, one in 3.0). In Disney Infinity 2.0, the player unlocks a series of missions centered around the character when they first unlock the character in the play set; completing these missions unlocks a special toy. No such missions are available in Disney Infinity 3.0. Crossover Coins were renamed "Champion Coins" in Disney Infinity 3.0.
