Disney Infinity base

"Here it is, the Disney Infinity Base! This is the treasure... the gateway to worlds untold, with limitless possibilities, all created by you!"
--Toy Box Host, Disney Treasure Hunt

The Disney Infinity Base is an accessory used by the Disney Infinity games. It is a hexagonal flat platform onto which Figures, Game Pieces, and Power Discs are placed in order to use them in the games. The base has three slots: two circular and one hexagonal.

  • The hexagonal slot is for Game Pieces and Hexagonal Power Discs (the power discs that spawn toys or change customizations in the Toy Box).
  • The two circular slots are for Figures, as well as Circular Power Discs, which can be stacked under the figures to give them special abilities.

Players can place up to three hexagonal discs and two circular discs on the base at one time. The base also emits different colors of light.

Bases[]

Six unique bases were produced:

  • One for the Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
  • One for the Xbox 360.[1]
  • One for the Xbox One.[1]
  • One for the Apple TV (4th generation).[2]
  • One for the Nintendo 3DS.[3]
  • One for the PlayStation Vita.[4]

The physical base was not used with digital versions of the game for PC and mobile devices. Instead, digital versions of figures, games, and discs could be purchased in-game.

Trivia[]

  • When there's a red blinking light it means that the figure/power disc/play set is either removed or in a wrong place.
  • The bases function independently of the Edition they are obtained with.
  • If the Xbox One base is stacked on the Xbox 360 base while both consoles are running Disney Infinity (e.g. 2.0 on Xbox One and 1.0 on Xbox 360), a figure placed in the left circular slot on the Xbox One base will show up on both consoles. It is not known whether this works in any other combination or context, or how reliable the game running on the console attached to the lower of the two bases will function.

  1. 1.0 1.1 Xbox 360 and Xbox One each require their own proprietary Disney Infinity Base; they will not work with any other supported platform, or even with each other.
  2. This base is colored black instead of white/grey like the other bases. It connects via Bluetooth, as Apple TV does not support external USB devices. However, it can also be used as a Disney Infinity Base via USB with any other supported platform except Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Only Apple TV (4th generation) supports the Bluetooth functionality of that base.
  3. This battery-powered base is for the platform-exclusive Disney Infinity: Toy Box Challenge, and has space for only one figure. It connects to the platform wirelessly via infrared.
  4. Like the 3DS base, it has space for only one figure.
