Emperor Zurg Toy Story

Emperor Zurg is a Boss from Pixar's Toy Story, first introduced and only appearing in Disney Infinity 1.0.

He is not available for use in the Toy Box.

He is the arch nemesis of Buzz Lightyear and the final boss in the Play Set . After completing all of the battle simulator missions, Hamm, Slinky, and Rex will report that they are under attack. When the player leaves, they see a giant Zurg with several ZurgBots guarding the batteries needed to convert the shield tower into a goo cannon. After being defeated, he is shrunk to small size and is rewarded as a trophy to the heroes, and then regains consciousness and tries to attack everybody with no effect. 

A hologram of Zurg also appears in the battle simulator lobby, and will taunt the player during the simulator missions.

Zurg was seen in many trailers before and after the game's release, acting as a playable character in the Toy Box. John Vignocchi later said that Zurg was scrapped as a playable character because of his final boss status in the Toy Story in Space Play Set.

Trivia

• Ferb and Emperor Zurg have been found in the coding of Disney Infinity. Unlike Ferb, Zurg can move when spawned, but doesn't talk.
• His design is based off of Darth Vader, even with the "I am your father" quote, which both characters used.
