The Disney Infinity Collection is a Feature on the Disney Infinity 3.0 main menu. It provides players with an in-game method of tracking their Disney Infinity toys.
Collections[]
The Disney Infinity Collection is divided into five separate Collections. In order of appearance (left to right):
- Star Wars Character Collection
- Marvel Character Collection
- Disney Character Collection
- Disney Infinity Hex Power Discs
- Disney Infinity Round Power Discs
Item Details[]
Each Collection page shows which items the player has used in-game. Selecting an item displays:
- the (official) in-game name of the item,
- an image of the item and its description as shown via "View Info" in the Hall of (Galactic/Super) Heroes,
- the Edition in which the item was introduced,
- the franchise[1] or game the item is associated with,
- the number of unique instances of the item the player owns (or has "taken ownership" of), and
- the Experience Bonus being provided by the item(s).
Experience Bonus[]
The total Experience Bonus for all items is displayed near the top of each page. This increases how much experience Playable Characters earn, effectively increasing the speed at which they gain new levels.
If a player owns more than one of an item, the Experience Bonus from that item may be increased. In some cases, this is a direct multiplier; in others, a significant number of "duplicate" items must be used to further increase the bonus.
To "check in" an item, the player must place the item on the Disney Infinity Base while in the Toy Box or a game where the item may be used. Cycling items on/off the base while on the main menu has no effect. For Playable Characters, the player must take or otherwise "Share Ownership"; playing as a Guest does not count.
- Experience Bonus per 3.0 character: 5%[2]
- Experience Bonus per 2.0 character: 3%
- Experience Bonus per 1.0 character: 1%[3]
- Experience Bonus for 1 disc: 0%
- Experience Bonus for 2-4 discs: 0.5%
- Experience Bonus for 5 or more discs: 1%
Trivia[]
- Experience Bonuses over 400% are possible, providing more than a 4x increase in how much experience a character earns, and significantly decreasing the time it takes to level; see Gallery images below.
