Mulan, when placed on the Disney Infinity Base

Mulan (full name Fa Mulan), is the protagonist of Disney's Mulan. She is be playable in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition. She was originally revealed to be playable by a leak. She was released August 28th in Europe at launch and at a timed exclusive to Best Buy in North America, as confirmed by Best Buy on June 16th, 2015. [2]. She was released worldwide on September 19, 2015.

Appearance

Mulan has short jet-black hair, that goes to her shoulders and wears a blue and black hanfu, with a red silk cloth around her waist, and a dragon medallion around her neck.

Abilities

Mulan fights with martial arts skills. Her melee attacks are performed with the use of a bamboo staff. She also uses the staff in her ranged attack, where she strikes forward.[3] Additionally, she has the ability to air-juggle. Her special move is called Fire Power, and is used to shoot the Dragon Firework Cannon into the air.[4][3] She uses her fan to block.[3] She has a super jump.

Trivia

  • When Mulan attacks, lotus blossoms fly up all around her.[3]
  • Mulan's horse, Khan, is a ridable mount, making her the second playable character to be released after the release of a power disc mount based on the character's mount from a past installment, the first being Merida.
  • Mulan is one of six Disney Princesses to appear as Playable Characters in the games, along with Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, Elsa and Jasmine.
    • She was the first Disney Princess confirmed for 3.0.
  • She is the only character in the official Disney Princess line-up to not be royalty (with the possible exception of Pocahontas, a Native American chieftain's daughter).
  • She is voiced by Ming-Na Wen who voiced her in the film.[1]
  • She was added to the game after many fans requested for her to become a figure.[5]
    • In addition, she was the only released Disney princess figure who wasn't born into royalty.
